Same-sex marriage opponents: why do you care if homosexuals are allowed to marry?

It seems that opponents of same-sex marriage are very adamant, and often either angry or fearful (or both). I do not understand this, but I'd like to.

So, why are you so interested in the subject? Why does it matter to you so much? What exactly are you afraid is going to happen to you as a result of same-sex marriage?

Because it violates the "sanctity of marriage" as proclaimed by God. And I think opponents are adamantly against it for that reason and because where will liberal views end? Pretty soon, men will be able to marry animals, such as horses, goats. and sheep
God created Eve for Adam.....not Steve for Adam....sorry, but there it is. An opinion....although, you know what they say about opinions....LOL
