Description: The caption accompanying this 1961 image reads: "Mrs. Carl Gibson who as Jane Blankenship won high science honors in school, combines her scientific work with advanced studies and homemaking." As a student at Oak Ridge High School, Blankenship won a number of honors. While completing a B.S. in chemistry at the University of Tennessee, she worked during the summers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where her father was a physical chemist. By 1961, she had married a chemical engineer, moved to California, and was working as a spectroscopist for Lockheed Aircraft. Her photograph was used to illustrate a news story about "sex desegregation" in science and the importance of encouraging more women to become scientists if the United States was to compete effectively in the Cold War.

People seem to believe that the best marriages, relationships are with great sex . They say test drive first, and they suggest that a happy marriage is one with a partner that is really good in bed.
Is this true, should I be getting experience?
Best answer:
Answer by Kat C Good sex is important for a good relationship, but is more important for long term committed relationships such as marriages. If you're in a dating relationship and don't feel ready for sex then you by no means have to do this. The good news about sex is that it gets better with practice and good communication. When you're in a committed long term relationship it is important to be able to talk about what is good and what isn't, what you would like to try, and what you wouldn't like to try. When you're able to discuss sex with your partner you're on the way to having great sex, consistently. It's very difficult to maintain great sex without good communication and honesty. Don't feel you have to go run out and sleep around to get experience, you'll have your entire married life to get the same experience. Remember not everyone is the same- you could have sex with a thousand people and still not know how to pleasure the person you end up with.
